In July of 2021, tensions were running high in New York's Brooklyn borough. Fear, rage, suspicion; the palpable paranoia of an empire clearly in decline. The empaths dove for cover in slapback dungeons, spinning themselves out on thin strips of antique mylar, transmitting doom and solace through magnetic heads in early-morning dirges, distilling soul as they chase eternity for eternity's sake. It takes two reels to pull a strip of history past Logic Control. It takes two madding urges to drive Taylor-Barbier back out into the night.
